The Borgward B 3000 was a family of standardized 3-ton trucks produced by the German manufacturer Carl F. W. Borgward GmbH as a medium-duty truck in the Wehrmacht supply system.
Widely used from the Balkan campaign of 1941 onwards, the B 3000 took part in logistics in various theaters of military operations. Luftwaffe units also used it for airfield support and its towing capabilities, which added to its versatility in cross-service transport roles.
The Borgward B3000 Maultier is a rare half-track variant of the German Borgward B3000 truck, modeled after the Ford and Opel Maultier cars. These vehicles were designed to improve cross-country ability on muddy and snowy roads.
